“An absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience. Our evening at Dar Marjana was one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakech. We arrived a little early and were warmly welcomed by a smaller table with Moroccan tea and snacks while choosing our menu. Later, we were seated at our dining table, where a lovely surprise was waiting for us. The food was outstanding. We enjoyed chicken and lamb tajines, couscous with chicken, pastilla, and many other delicious Moroccan dishes. Everything was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and there was so much food that we struggled to finish it all! What makes this place truly special is the staff and the atmosphere. The singers, dancers, musicians, and staff make you feel like part of the family. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and passionate about creating a memorable evening. The highlight for us was the end of the night when the staff came together singing and dancing. Soon everyone was joining in, laughing, singing, and celebrating together. It was magical, romantic, and so much fun. We honestly cannot find a single negative thing to say. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️🇲🇦✨”
“We had dinner before we came, so we only wanted a small dish, but we ended up ordering more because the food was so good! The Moroccan food here is excellent. We felt very welcomed, and the atmosphere was great. They also have shows and belly dancing, which added to the experience. All the waiters were super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!”
“the food was absolutely amazing, but the atmosphere was INCREDIBLE. super great music, not too loud or quiet, and really great service!! and the shows were just excellent; there was a song and dance, and everyone was invited to join!! There was even a belly dancer. it was the best restaurant in Morocco in the local area that we’ve been to. Would absolutely recommend!”
“The Riad I stayed in made a reservation here for dinner and it did not disappoint! It has the perfect blend of Marrakesh food and entertainment, without feeling like a tourist trap. The setting is gorgeous, but subtle, and the service was incredible warm and welcoming. The food was also delicious and very generous, I couldn’t fit it all in! 😋! I’d highly recommend it if you’re nearby.”
“The place is amazing! Very high hygiene, the staff is so friendly and most importantly - the food is SO DELICIOUS! If you like the combination of sweet and sour - this is the restaurant for you!”
“AMAZING Experience. Truly one of the best experiences I had in Morocco. Wonderful food, big plates to share, shows and 10/10 customer service”
“Incredible nice hidden place with beautiful ambience, friendly staff, delicious food (best tagine so far with vegetable couscous). Served at the table. Absolutely Value for money. They offer different meals / courses for fixed price incl house cocktail, bottle of wine, starters & desert. Plus…. A very nice, partially interactive dinner show with music, dance and beautiful belly dancer. Definitely a place to go when in Marrakech!”
“Listen, this is a sleeper of a joint at only ~600 reviews. The service is amazing, the vibes are cool, but the food? INSANELY GOOD. We had the beef with the dried fruits and I’ve haven’t meat such succulent, so soft, and so well seasoned meat my entire time here in Morocco. The apricots and plums in the dish with the fatty rendering of the meat was just unparalleled. My wife had the chicken tangier and it was equally as heavenly. Now to service: we have a 6 month old and a 2 year old and though we were the only ones there (early dinner cause you know, family life) they treated our girls like royalty. They made sure if they were getting fussy they would be entertained with silly games or napkin tricks. This was a very sweet reprieve for us and we are truly in love with Moroccan hospitality, starting with this memory. Lastly, the host was amazing. From helping us sit our girls who were in mid tantrum to helping us find a private spot to do a diaper change, Amel was extremely helpful. She helped with all of our questions and even helped with super descriptive directions to getting out of the Medina (we were still noobs at this point). Vibes: The vibes were cool. Don’t expect some Instagram worthy vibes, and it could be kind of dead (we only saw one other couple our entire time there) to be honest, but don’t be discouraged, I don’t know why this is the case. This place is truly a local gem; they have a towering palm tree, the tables are all low (which is great for our kids!), and play really good music! Plus the personable service really adds to that Moroccan charm. If you have kids or are looking for the best meat dishes in Morocco, this is where you need to be at.”
