“Sabale is the kind of place that makes “simple” feel intentional. Sober, industrial vibes, an open kitchen where you can witness the beautiful chaos of service in real time, somehow still organized enough to work. The pastries come fresh out of the oven and are absolutely to die for. The menu changes depending on whatever fresh ingredients they get, which keeps things interesting. It’s always packed, but the wait was only around 10 minutes. Paid about €20 total for a salad, bomb-ass garlic cheese potatoes, coffee, and a pastry. Honestly, highly recommend.”

“Walked in just after lunch menu started. Full house, but we got a table within 15 minutes while sipping a coffee. Service is a nice blend of self-service and ad-hoc table service. Staff is very attentive and handle specific requests with care. Food can be described as hearty, wholesome Sunday cooking. You are not here for the gourmet experience, though everything is prepared with a great level of attention. You are here to satisfy your hunger, pick olives with your fingers and ask for seconds.”

“First time visiting Sabale and we absolutely loved it. We came on a weekday and everything felt relaxed and welcoming. We had the tomato soup with grilled cheese — amazing and so comforting. The hummus was also incredibly delicious, as were the potatoes. We also tried the sea bass, which was our least favorite dish, but still decent overall. The staff were nice and friendly, and the place itself has a lot of charm. It feels cozy, honest, and well put together. Definitely a place we’d recommend and would happily visit again.”
