“Today we went for lunch and were very impressed by the flavors of the cuisine and the high quality of the ingredients. Delicious khachapuri, excellent salads, and lavash. We highly recommend it.”
“This is a gem of a restaurant. It is,a family restaurant, mum made our desert and dad did the chicken. We ate so well. This was an opportunity for us to try Armenian cuisine. The wine was also very high quality. It was more than we expected. Highly recommended!”
“I would give Ararat more than 5 stars if I could. Perfect place for a birthday or group dinner. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was electric.”
“We were in Sofia for 8 nights. We ate here on our 1st night and the food was so good that we made sure we were able to have dinner there a second time before we left. That said they were not always open as posted (a normal Sofia thing). But we were stubborn and just keep on checking. All the food was made as we ordered, was extremely fresh and delicious both times. Although the proprietors do not speak much English we communicated with no issues and honestly it was part of the charm. They wanted to talk to us and we wanted to talk to them. Good people recognizing good people. Card is not available so ensure you have cash as I found my self short and had to run to an ATM. Truly a highlight of a wonderful vacation.”
“Amazing food with wonderful service. Tried the Tava kebab and it was some of the best meat we tried in Bulgaria. Highly recommended if you want to try a unique kind of cuisine. Bring cash as they don't take card.”
“Absolutely love it, very delicious home made food , fantastic owner, definitely will visit it again when will be in Sofia”
