“Amazing experience! Location is great, close to Batah, a square where you can find banks, busses and the taxis , which cannot enter the Medina so it is very important to be close a place reachable by car. The area is close to Bab Boujloud, whre you find plenty of restaurants and you can go down to the Medina following the main shopping streets. The room was spacious, well decorated (many beautiful details but not too kitch, kind of minimalistic) clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is not super rich, but delicious and home made. You can have dinner there for 15 EUR per person, we did and the atmosphere in the courtyard is perfect for a romantic dinner. The food was also great (Harira, Chicken lemon tajine, orange with cinnamon as dessert). The staff was always incredibly kind. They prepared for us Tea and the breakfast to go before the flight as we had no time to have it in the riad. Plus, the view from the rooftop is well worth the trip!”

“We arrived at the riad at 10 a.m., and although check-in is from 2 p.m., they kindly allowed us to check in early since the room was ready. We truly appreciated the kindness and attentiveness of the staff from the very beginning. They welcomed us with coffee and cookies, which we enjoyed on the terrace — a very pleasant place. The suite was very spacious, the bathroom was clean, and everything was exactly as shown in the photos. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, and we slept very well. The breakfast was delicious and abundant; we had it in the courtyard, which has a very special charm. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay such a pleasant experience. If we have the opportunity to return to Fez in the future, we will definitely stay with you again.”

“I’ll start with the positive points: Good things: • The rooms are nice and spacious, and the bathrooms are also a good size. • The staff is friendly and helpful. • The location is okay. Bad things: • The bed was very noisy. Every time you move during the night, it makes loud sounds, likely because it’s old and loosely assembled. It kept waking us up. • The bathroom of the neighboring room was separated only by a door covered with a bookshelf. We could clearly hear people using the toilet, showering, and even blow-drying their hair late at night. • Breakfast was very basic — just bread, eggs, and some marmalade. No fresh fruit, cheese, or cold cuts. • The lobby atmosphere was cold and depressing, with no warmth or lively ambiance. It felt more like a hospital than a welcoming riad. • Worst of all, we asked for a guide and were recommended someone named Ali. Unfortunately, about 60% of the tour consisted of visiting shops where we were pressured to buy things so he could earn commission. Very little time was spent learning about Fez, its history, or culture.”

“The hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. My room was a Mezzanine and was it ever noisy from the street traffic. The shower head leaked all night. Very clean but bathroom needs to have shore floors redone and shower head replaced. Excellent breakfast. Accessing the hotel is not easy in the evening, as staff are helping with dinner on the terrace. Expect a wait. They should give clients a key to the front door if they don’t have 24 hour front desk services.”
