“In between a café & a full on restaurant, Baba Ghanouj is nicely decorated, offering relaxed dining & a warm welcome. The service was really good, from the moment we arrived to when we left, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially as I was struggling to decide what to eat from the extensive menu, and it is a good menu. No alcohol of course, but they do serve an alcohol free beer and cider beer. I had the spicy and hot chicken shish taouk with rice which came served in a delicate silver tray whilst my daughter also had the chicken shish taouk, but the non hot & spicy. We shared some bread and hummus to start with, which was really good; light and creamy. The rice was light and fluffy. No desserts on this occasion for either of us. A nice evening with really good food and service, it's not expensive either. Baba Ghanouj is also a great name, it is a smoky Middle Eastern dip made from roasted eggplant, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice. Literally, the Arabic name translates to "pampered papa" or "spoiled daddy," likely referring to a legendary story of a sultan spoiled with this dish by his harem, or a dish created for an elderly patriarch. And as it was my birthday, I really did enjoy my evening, a pampered papa 👍.”
“A few weeks ago, I recently visited Baba Ghanouj in Kensington after a friend brought me here and it was such a fantastic experience. This is my first time ever having Lebanese food. We had a delicious starter, which were absolutely delicious fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing which set the tone for the rest of the meal. For the mains, I was genuinely surprised by the portion sizes, especially considering it was the lunchtime menu. The plates were far larger than I expected, and the quality of the food matched the presentation. Everything tasted authentic and well-balanced. It is such great value for food. For starters, mains and drinks, the total came to around £35 for the two of us, which was incredibly reasonable given the quality and atmosphere. The service was excellent from start to finish. Everything arrived quickly, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. In particular, one young lady who served us stood out she was warm, professional and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout our visit. The atmosphere was lively and electric, making the whole experience feel special yet relaxed. I live in another city but when back in London I will most definitely be returning to show my husband and family!”

“Wow the food here is absolutely amazing and the lunch deal is great value. The service from the staff is also next level. They really make you feel like a regular the first time you dine here. It has kept us coming back again and again!”
“Fantastic Lebanese food! The hummus is amazing! Been here 3 times within a week. The garlic dip is also so good! Don’t forget to order the signature drink(apple, mint, ginger) The baklava is also very delicious.”
“A favourite restaurant in London - the food is genuinely fresh and top quality. Though I could rave on about the food, quality, menu etc. - it’s truly the service and people that work there that is what makes this restaurant really stand out and shine above the rest! The food and service is simply unbeatable, it truly is a special gem amongst the sea of great restaurants in London. You must try their chicken or lamb mince shawarma, spicy hummus, Lebanese bread, tabouleh, fattoush salad, falafel, lamb sambusek, cheese sambusek, spicy potatoes, grilled halloumi, mixed pickles, or any their wraps (I am partial to their chicken or lamb). You will never leave feeling hungry or feeling it was mediocre - it truly is the perfect balance of excellent cuisine, execution of culinary finesse, impeccable warm hospitality, and a warm ambience. Highly highly recommend - and I hope you get served by Soheil or Ahmed, they are the special sauce, secret herbs and spices, to this remarkable restaurant!”
