“Stunning decor, even better food! This restaurant is dominated by a soft pastel colour palette of blush pinks and powder blues, paired with abundant floral installations and confectionery displays. This flamboyance in its appearance is what initially attracted me to it. I walked in on a Wednesday at midday, despite being quite busy and packed, we were able to be seated immediately. Although the floral and artisanal sweet displays are eye-catching, they did at first overwhelm me. When you initially enter the restaurant, it does seem like they take up the majority of the space, creating a congested feel. However, that is just the cost of making a place so visually attractive. We ordered the chicken tacos, which came with a hefty serving of chips, and the beef stroganoff. Both meals were delectable. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and presentation of the food, which was definitely worth the price m. You can tell this place puts genuine care and effort into what they make. On a practical note, the toilets were very clean and spacious, which I appreciated. However, as a heads-up for anyone with accessibility needs, the loo is located downstairs. Navigating the restaurant in a wheelchair might also be difficult because the seating arrangement is quite tight, making the pathways narrow. Aside from that, I loved this restaurant and would highly recommend to anyone! It’s a beautiful place that you can visually enjoy with a delicious comforting hot meal.”
“I visited Fait Maison with a group of my girlfriends, and we had a lovely time. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside, with a stylish and elegant flowery atmosphere that’s perfect for catching up with friends and taking photos. The service was really nice. The staff were friendly and attentive, and when we asked one of the waiters to take some pictures for us, they happily and patiently helped us without making us feel rushed. The food was nice, although I did feel it was a little overpriced for the taste and portion sizes. While everything was presented well, the flavour didn’t quite match the price point. Overall, we had a good experience. The beautiful setting and excellent service made it an enjoyable visit, and it’s definitely a great spot for a girls’ day out or a special catch-up with friends.”
“We throughly enjoyed our brunch dining experience. Our server Shivam was very attentive, helpful, friendly, and informative. The dining room was amazingly impeccable and outstandingly gorgeous. We were in awe over the atmosphere and food. The food was just as amazing and gorgeous as the dining environment. In addition to the absolutely delicious English breakfast and poached eggs with smashed avocado, the afternoon cream tea was extraordinary. We absolutely loved the loose leaf jasmine tea with two homemade scones. Be sure to dine here for a reasonably priced and enjoyable tea and brunch experience.”
“Excellent breakfast spot just a few minutes’ walk from Gloucester Road Underground Station. They also have two branches on Gloucester Road, with a restaurant and a bakery/patisserie, making it very convenient. We had the Egg Royale, Full English Breakfast, pancakes, almond croissant, coffee, and a freshly made orange, ginger and apple juice. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the juice was clearly made to order rather than store bought. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with a generous salad bar and plenty of fresh pastries to choose from. The restaurant was spacious and not crowded, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our visit. Another big plus is that the restaurant is fully halal, so there are plenty of great options to enjoy with peace of mind. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely come back. Hopefully they continue to maintain the same high standards of food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quality breakfast in London.”
“We came here for my friends baby shower (a group of 6 of us). The food was great and atmosphere was beautiful but they did forget one of our friends food and forgot to bring tap water even though we asked 3 times. However the staff were friendly and accommodated our request eventually! Thanks”
“Wow. The food was incredible. I am no stranger to Mediterranean fusion dishes, but the menu here was truly creative and ingredients mixed fantastically well. The atmosphere of the place was nice, the interior design was unique. This place felt like an experience not just a meal. Highly recommended. The batata harra pie was delicious! So was everything else we ordered. With the exception of the pistachio pancake which was very disappointing and felt like just a regular homemade pancake with pistachio paste around it. I recommend sticking to Mediterranean dishes. We came without a reservation and a line was forming but we were seated within ten minutes. The restaurant is big and people do come in and out so the line moves often. The person in front of us did not have their full group present and was not seated because of that. So keep that in mind if you come without a reservation like we did.”
