“I recently visited Joury, a Lebanese restaurant with a very clean and modern interior. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are professional and helpful throughout the meal. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, which was great. Taste-wise, everything was delicious and authentic—I particularly enjoyed the salad, which was fresh and well-seasoned. However, it's worth noting that the portions are a bit on the smaller side; the plates are definitely designed for one person rather than sharing. One thing that stood out to me was how spotless the restrooms were. I’ve always believed that the cleanliness of a restaurant's restroom reflects their overall hygiene standards, and Joury definitely passed the test. Keep in mind that they do add a 10% service charge to the bill. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you're looking for a quick and tasty Lebanese meal in a polished setting.”

“Some of the best restaurant food I have ever had. Lots of vegan options and a very clearly labelled menu with allergens on everything. I particularly recommend the moussaka- it was smoky and rich; by far the nicest I’ve ever had. Lentil soup was delicious and lemony. Sarma was lovely. Spicy hummus was smooth and tasty. Rice was cooked perfectly. Mixed fruit juice was so sweet and tasty. Baclava was sweet and fragrant. They’re open very late too. Staff are very friendly. Service is very quick. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food.”

“We visited Jouri Lebanese on Edgware Road without a reservation and were seated within minutes. Service was quick and attentive until they rushed it at the end. We ordered cold Mezze - Moutabel (aubergine with sesame paste), tabbouleh, falafel, and vine leaves (Warak Inab B’zeit). The falafel was fresh and tasty. The moutabel and tabbouleh, vine leaves were okay, all were a bit salty and sour. Overall, the food was average, but fine for a quick meal. It was very busy and noisy, so not the best if you’re looking for a quiet meal or a long chat. The service was attentive, but we were missed when desserts were served at the end, which was slightly disappointing.”
