“Very welcoming , homely atmosphere. Amazing music with Fairouz on. Beautiful food, very hygienic and clean. The Fattoush salad was insane, you need to try it! Very clean toilet. Great chili sauce!!”
“A true gem to find. I walked in based on a recommendation from a colleague and Yasmina’s staff did not disappoint. I had a mixed grill and mixed appetisers. We were two people and the food was more than enough to fill us up and was incredibly healthy grilled chicken and meat! I am definitely going back and will try the pizza next time. Warm welcoming staff and clean area.”
“Absolutely delicious food! The owner is incredibly nice, and the ingredients are super fresh and generously portioned. The Fattoush salad might just be the best I’ve had in the UK – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The grilled fish is made to order, and I could smell a gentle charcoal aroma coming from the kitchen – truly authentic and mouthwatering. Even the flatbread is exceptionally well made – perfectly baked, with a natural aroma that really brings out the flavor of the grain itself. Highly recommend Yasmina Restaurant and Bakery!”
“We went 2.5 weeks ago. It was a real pity as the two senior staff/owners/chefs were really friendly and the meze selections look very appetising. We ordered a meat skewer and a mixed cold mezze platter. We sensed the young staff who was taking orders didn’t seem to fully understand us so we showed it to him on the menu card to avoid confusion. We weren’t given options of the cold mezze so thought perhaps it was their selection. Food came, first with mixed pickles and I then asked the young staff what it was for in case it wasn’t meant for us. The young man said for everything. I asked if it was part of the cold mezze, he repeated yes, yes, for everything etc, so we just thought it was part of the mezze deal. Then we were served the skewer we ordered and a warmed mezze - makalee (mixed aubergine, cauliflower and potatoes). We asked the young man again pointing on the menu that we ordered mixed ‘cold’ mezze platter and believed they should be from the cold mezze selections on the menu. He immediately said yeah-yeah it was, and didn’t really bother to communicate with us, so we ate it and thought that was the most bizarre cold mezze platter we ever had. When we got the bill, it was clear the young man completely messed up our orders - we were charged for a mixed pickles, a skewer dish and a makalee. The two senior staffs were at the till and asked if we liked the makalee. I said it was something new and interesting, but I was expecting mixed cold mezze like humus and other cold dishes. And I really didn’t want more potatoes in addition to the fries served with the skewer dish… A brief nice chat. The staff told me that if we have mixed mezze next time we go, don’t order pickles as it would come with the platter. I wasn’t sure if the two senior staffs realised we were served wrong food from what we had actually ordered. I wasn’t very happy with the young man being rather ignorant of our repeated efforts to clarify our orders with him. I am not sure it was encouraging us to return. I had a box of baklava to take away - delicious!”
“I honestly don't understand how people can say this place is no good. This is one of my favourite places in London and everything it's just so so good. The place is small and intimate, no more than 9 tables but it's always full. Food is gorgeous, very tasty; big (huge) portions and it's so cheap. Staff are always very nice; you don't have to wait for between meals and you can see how the meals are prep with fresh ingredients. Pita bread it's the best I've ever had - it's made with cinnamon- so delicious! Hummus - gorgeous! Chicken&lamb - rich and full of flavour Everything is delicious and flavoursome. Honestly, I can't recommend this place enough. We spent around £25 and we ate well (next day went to McDonald's and spent more - we were still hungry, just for comparison)”
“I just had a meal here at the Yasmina restaurant. It was served by a young lady who made me an orange and ginger and carrot juice drink, which was absolutely out of this world. And the food that I had, I had a chicken wrap with salad and freshly made garlic sauce of some kind, but I've never had anything like it. It was absolutely tasty and good. Highly recommend this restaurant. Defo 10/10”
