“Here’s a polished review you can use: I had the pleasure of spending a relaxing Sunday at Palais Ronsard for a day pass by the pool, and the experience was truly exceptional. The setting is absolutely stunning—peaceful, elegant, and surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens that make you feel completely disconnected from the city’s hustle. The pool area is immaculate, with a calm and luxurious atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. A special thank you to Antho, who was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. His attention to detail and warm attitude made the day even more enjoyable. Overall, everything—from the ambiance to the service—was top-tier. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a refined and peaceful pool day in Marrakech. I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“Exquisite decor with many fine details. The gardens are gorgeous even in February so I’m sure even better in spring. Every staff member went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. Incredible pool with wonderful staff ready to take food or drink orders at any time. The only downside is the restaurant (for dinner) is overpriced for the quality. Both the entree and main plat were overcooked but Fotis felt had very nice flavoring. Wines are quite expensive for what is offered. Breakfast was magnificent. Would return to this hotel in an instant but would do all dinners elsewhere. Highly recommend!”
“A wonderful break away. The Palais Ronsard is a jewel, the perfect hotel for a short break away if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing environment. The decor of the hotel is incredible, pure beauty. Our junior suite had a wonderful terrace too. We had sunshine which helped. And the service was perfect too. Our waiter Anas in particular was very attentive and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our holiday there!”
“Extremely distressing and humiliating New Year’s Eve experience We attended the New Year’s Eve gala dinner at Palais Ronsard expecting a refined and respectful experience. Unfortunately, what we encountered was one of the most uncomfortable and humiliating dining experiences we have ever had at a luxury property. Despite clearly communicating that one of us is vegetarian, non-vegetarian food was served to the vegetarian guest. When this was pointed out politely, the situation escalated in a completely unacceptable manner. A hostess raised her voice and screamed at us, apparently because she had mistaken us for another table. There was no attempt to calmly verify the situation before addressing us in this way. Instead of resolving the issue discreetly, multiple staff members repeatedly came to our table, drawing unnecessary attention and making the situation increasingly embarrassing. At no point did anyone stop to properly understand what had gone wrong or how humiliating this was becoming in a public setting. Most disappointing was the response from senior management. Karima Sahraoui, along with others, came to the table not to listen or show empathy, but primarily to defend the hostess, repeatedly stating that she was “not rude” and that it was a “misunderstanding.” This was done while we were still visibly distressed. There was no genuine attempt at understanding, no accountability, and no sincere apology. Being served food that goes against dietary requirements is serious enough; being spoken to aggressively and then publicly invalidated by staff and management is unacceptable. Luxury hospitality is defined not by aesthetics alone, but by grace, discretion, empathy, and accountability—especially when mistakes occur. Sadly, on this night, Palais Ronsard failed on all counts. We left the evening feeling disrespected, humiliated, and deeply disappointed, and this is not the standard one expects from a Relais & Châteaux property.”
“Everything you could ask for in a hotel - excellent service - really first class, nothing was too much and one slight issue with a late room cleaning was sorted out straight away. What this hotel lacks in the grandeur of some of the larger 'palace hotels' like the Oberoi or Mandarin etc.. it more than offsets with intimacy, class, attention to detail and the feeling that you (and a few others) have the run of your own Villa. Rooms, food, wifi, pool, gym etc.. all excellent. The only quibble I would have was the spa/massage experience was not what it could be (massage fine, but the overall 'experience' from entry to exit is much better at other spas I have been to). However, I would definitely recommend and return”
“The location of Palais Ronsard is about 30 min from the Medina of Marrakech (old center) |The place has a very calm atmosphere, and the gardens are magnificent.|The rooms are nicely decorated with a lot of authentic furniture and details|The value for what you get is somehow high priced |The cleanliness of the rooms is ok, but not the high windows. We made a complaint but the guys had no proper materials to clean properly! The managment should have specific people only for window cleaning. Ours were so dirty we missed light in the room.|There is absolutely no noise disturbance in this hotel. In our room, close to the pool , we hardly heared the soft music aroung the pool. |The pool was well heated although we had low temperatures and rains.|The service is truly excellent. The restaurant offers different menus. International and local cuisine.|The taxis of the hotel to and from golf courses, other restaurants and more was very efficient.”
