“Egur Egur is a great Armenian restaurant right in the center of Sofia, set in a beautiful old house. The restaurant is divided into separate rooms that used to be part of the house itself, which makes it ideal for a more private dinner or small gathering. The service was flawless, and the prices were very reasonable. We tried several traditional Armenian dishes and were genuinely impressed. This was actually our second visit, and we’ll definitely be back again.”
“Very good food! The atmosphere is perfect with this feeling of a classic house! The service was also perfect, with the waiter making jokes of good taste! I would definitely recommend, it was a special experience having dinner at this place!”
“The food was simple, balanced in terms of condiments, and fresh. We tried more than 7 dishes. The wine from the armenian Egur brand was delicious, interesting taste. As a dessert we had the typical coffee "with a surprise" cognac, very pleasant, combined with some sweets. The service has been very attentive and friendly. Recommend.”
“Food was tasty. My first time trying Armenian food. And I love it! The restaurant atmosphere was the best. And the price of the food was pretty cheap compared to its atmosphere. Love it!”
“An absolutely wonderful restaurant experience. The Armenian food was exceptional, full of flavor and beautifully executed. The service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and professional — and the space itself was carefully designed, aesthetically pleasing, and very inviting. I visited twice within five days, which says everything. I highly recommend the ribeye, the meat manti, and for dessert, the nougat ice cream, which was the perfect ending to the meal.”
“The food is good and varied, Armenian dishes should be your choice naturally. The garden is beautiful, but the furniture is horrendously uncomfortable - heavy wood and wrought iron chairs and narrow tables, better seat inside. Makings a reservation in advanced is well advised.”
