“A real local diner experience in Sofia. The food is good and the people that work at the place treat you the same way as any other ordinary person which I think is good. I had the chicken with cornflakes which luckily wasn't soaked in oil, very good. As a main I got the pork meat with onions and 2 slices of toasted bread. Good quality meat and a nice taste. The rakia they serve is good aswell. The best part is the price, for all this and 2 beers I only payed 15€ including 2€ tip”
“Food was good and arrived quickly. Menus are in Bulgarian only but nothing good old Translate can’t manage. Cash only but plenty of ATMs around. Around £25 for two salads, water, 2 portions of chicken and a special fried cheese dish. Very authentic Bulgarian restaurant
“The food was great, service was good, and the price was just amazing. You could get a starter, main, dessert, and drink for under 20лв. The service wasn’t attentive, but the waiter was very friendly. The menu is fully in Bulgarian and you need to pay in cash but they are very upfront and accommodating. Absolutely would recommend.”
“Decently priced for the center of Sofia. Lovely typical dishes! I was there twice, both times I was very satisfied. Definitely the best place for a budget traveller in this neighbourhood. Also, staff were quite friendly! Both the young lady and guy. For tourists: they speak English and have a translated menu.”
“Plates are on the smallish side so you'll need two or three. Local food, eatery version, very adequate prices, delicious dessert. Menu in a Bulgarian only, cash only. If you want an unpretentious local place, this is a good one.”
“We had a lovely, tasty very reasonably priced meal tonight. We shared cornflakes chicken strips and then I ate the mashed potato, chicken and mushroom meal. My husband ate yummy Bulgarian meatballs. The price was 25E including 1l of house white wine 😊 Excellent”
