“Best Riad in Bab R'cif near the entry of Medina. Excellent position and quality of service. Very abundant breakfast e very nice place downstairs. Good rooms. We stayed from 19 to 23 of April. Special thanks to Mustafa for his polite service and his attention to the guests of the road. Best and number 1 in Bab R'cif”
“Mustapha was the best host, we enjoyed our 3 nights at the Riad. We became “family” and all of the staff went over and above in respect of service and were helpful in getting anything we needed. The location is perfect close to the main attractions and conveniently located for sightseeing seeing and shopping .”
“I stayed here with my wife for over 5 nights. Mostafa and Yassin were super helpful throughout our stay, taking us through the narrow streets of the Rcif, and suggesting places to go out to. Giving us additional services that are not generally given to the public, such as washing our laundry, and a free late checkout. Honestly, it was the best treatment one could have, and if it wasn't for construction work around the area, we would have been sitting in a great central area where we wouldn't have to go through the narrow streets. Good thing is that the construction work will be over by the end of the month.”
“I am the grandson of the man who owned this Riad. At that time my grandfather chrif Sidi Mohamed IBN MAJDOUB HASSANI lived there with his wife chrifa Lalla Fatma FILALI and 10 children. My dad is his oldest offspring. My grandfather then passed away in the late nineties and the Riad was sold to M Benmoussa who turned it into hôtel.”
“We were taken to this RESTAURANT by the manager of our riad, which doesn't have a restaurant of its own (we didn't stay at Bab Rcif); they all 'cooperate' with each other, it seems. It was our first evening in Morocco and our only night in Fez. The prices at Bab Rcif were really high not only by Moroccan standards but even higher than what we would've paid back in Spain; a lamb dish costing over €30 is a bit OTT - it wasn't available anyway. That said, the food was better than anywhere else we ate in Morocco during our 4-day stay, hence my generous 2-star review!”
