The atmosphere is authentically Moroccan, with remarkable attention to detail – from the traditional decorations to the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms. The interior courtyard offers a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the vibrant souks. The hosts, two very kind people, Moha and Yussef made us feel at home from the first moment. I highly recommend this riad to anyone who wants to live an authentic Moroccan experience, in a welcoming and elegant setting. I will definitely be back!”

“I had a wonderful stay at this riad. The room was spacious, very clean, and completely quiet, which made it perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is ideal—close to everything, yet peaceful at the same time. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. And the breakfast was simply amazing—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!”

“Very bad experience, we agreed a price on the phone but once settled in they increased the price. It was cheaper to book online but decided not to give them any more money. We were planning to stay 2 nights but we left after the first and had to drag our bags around the Medina to find another accommodation. Also dont drink the coffee from the nespresso machine, 2.5 € per capsule”

“I rarely write negative reviews, but our experience at Riad Tahra in Fes was extremely disappointing and left us feeling taken advantage of. From the start, the pricing felt dishonest. We were told one price, but at checkout we were asked to pay more. To make things worse, the rate on Booking.com was actually cheaper than what we were charged in person, which felt completely unfair and misleading. The beds were very uncomfortable, making it hard to get any proper rest. On top of that, we were charged 25 dirhams per coffee without any prior warning that coffee was not included. These constant extra charges felt like a deliberate attempt to squeeze as much money as possible out of us. The junior staff were kind and polite, and they are the only reason this review is not even worse. Unfortunately, we never once saw the manager. Instead, messages were passed through the staff, which felt very unprofessional and cowardly, especially when dealing with complaints about pricing. Overall, we left with the strong impression that we were not treated as guests but as walking wallets. The focus seemed to be on extracting money rather than offering genuine hospitality. We felt uncomfortable, frustrated, and honestly a bit cheated. I would strongly advise future travelers to be very cautious or choose another place to stay.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Riad Tehra. We were met by one of their amazing staff, Muhammad, who met us with a kind smile and helped bring our luggage in from the street. The Riad had a very old world Moroccan charm, and we totally enjoyed the experience. We were very hungry after a long road trip, and Muhammad and their kitchen staff made us a wonderful tangine dinner with plenty of extras, hot Moroccan tea and an amazing dessert. A great little restaurant in the Riad. Even though it was a bit late, they were eager to take care of us. The next morning, Muhammad and their kitchen staff treated us with a well prepared and very tasty Moroccan breakfast. The room was fantastic and was clean and well decorated. Thanks to all for a memorable experience, we highly recommend.”

“The one and only reason I put 5 stars is Salah. He was totally amazing. The room can improve so much, the AC is old and takes literally 5 hours to warm the room a little bit, the toilet seat was broken. Salah lent us his personal heater... HIS PERSONAL HEATER! He's an angel on earth. I would come back only because of Salah. Also the food was very good.”
