“Aubergine – Craft Beer. Craft Food. A Truly Authentic Experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Aubergine – Craft Beer. Craft Food. offers a truly outstanding dining experience, where everything is executed at a very high level. The atmosphere is beautiful and authentic, with a charming old-style character that gives the place a unique soul. The interior feels warm, cozy, and full of character, creating a relaxed setting where you instantly feel comfortable. The food is exceptional, prepared with great attention to detail and high-quality ingredients. Every dish is full of flavor and beautifully presented, clearly reflecting the “craft” philosophy behind the kitchen. Overall, Aubergine stands out as a place where authentic atmosphere, great food, excellent beer, and top-level service come together seamlessly. 👉 Highly recommended – a must-visit spot in Sofia.”
“Excellent on all fronts - vibrant flavours, fresh local ingredients, soothing ambience, and attentive customer service. A restaurant I'd return to if I visit Sofia again! Not to mention, I got a lovely greeting by the resident cat!!! The food - 1. Salmon bruschetta 5/5 (we gobbled it so no pics hah) 2. Salmon salad 5/5 3. Stuffed aubergine 4.5/5 4. Baked goat cheese with molasses 5/5 5. Chicken with pea puree 4/5 (good flavours and the best pea puree ever but quite rich, I'd prefer some acidity or crispiness to balance it out).”
“Food was very good and nice portions. We sat outside and the atmosphere was ok (we couldn’t stand all the cigarette smoke so keep that in mind. It was quite pricey €100 for 4 people including 2 small beers. Dips were excellent as was the baked cheese.”
“The food was incredibly good, and we went at a very quiet time, with the whole terrace for ourselves. The grilled goat cheese dish was our favourite. There was also a friendly cat there that jumped on top of me and stayed there napping on my lap during the whole time, which I loved.”
“We enjoyed this charming little restaurant on a small street in Sofia and recommend making a reservation. We enjoyed several tasty, fresh vegetarian dishes, craft beer, in a cozy patio setting. Dined here on our first night in Sofia, and it was a lovely way to start our Bulgarian trip. We've since seen that most restaurants feature a lot of meat dishes, and it was great to have so many creative, flavorful veggie options here.”
“Amazing find in Sofia (well, not really a find, it was recommended). The duck was great but the kiopoolu and the tarama were amazing and very worth going back only for the starters. Great service topped with very good draft beer and this is easy to recommend”
