“The service is excellent, the food is so interesting and tasty! Wine pairing is great. But for us it was too much food, we found ourselves completely full half the way throught tasting menu. And, unfortunately, they don't give the wine list.”
“Absolutely fantastic! We had the 11-course menu with accompanying wine, sitting on the balcony on a beautiful summer evening. We're international travelers and used to a high standard, but André really broke the scale. Each course is a piece of art, inspiring and delicious. The wine selection is a great match, with a nice tilt to local Bulgarian wine. An absolute MUST if you are looking for high class dining. Next time in Sofia, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.”
“Andre in Sofia is absolutely amazing — you can tell they pay attention to every detail. We celebrated a birthday there, and it felt so special that the chef even came to congratulate my dad. The food and desserts were incredible — we tried all of them and loved every bite. The staff were very friendly, took the time to explain the menu, and even asked for feedback, which was a nice touch. The only small suggestion would be to work on how espresso is served. For such a high-level place, the espresso felt too long, watery, and lacking body — especially for specialty coffee. Otherwise, everything else was perfect and truly memorable.”
“The experience at this restaurant was perfect. I have zero negatives to mention. Prime location, exceptional service and the food is excellent. We ordered from the standard menu, but would definitely return for the tasting menu. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit.”
“There was bad smell in the entrance. The staff didn’t spoke English. The degustation menu was disgusting. French techniques was there but the taste wasn’t good. The plates was too many and at the end we discussed with the chef. He started saying he was on master chef as an critic and he worked in France and Germany etc but he didn’t really heard our opinion at all. The plates seemed great but the taste wasn’t awful. We paid 405 for two people. NEVER AGAIN.”
“Loved the location of the restaurant and the atmosphere. The staff was kind. The wait was a bit long, we had the tasting menu with non alcoholic drinks and it took more than 2 hours. Loved the chocolate cake dessert and the presentation of it, so majestic. Also liked the snails with caviar. Really light and tasty. Salad was also quite refreshing, the paired zucchini was delicious. Hated the duck confi with strawberries, the strawberries were tart and sweet which was okay but the duck with it… the harmony was not there and the huge chunks of pepper were not nice. The spinach purée with elda was okay. The main course which was some kind of fish was not bad, I found a bone in there which was not the best but the sauce was AMAZING. They also served us a platter of cheeses and the truffle honey was to die for, would swim in that honey. The chocolate assortments were also okay. The non alcoholic drinks were good but I didn’t like the non alcoholic rum and wine. They were really watery and weird tasting but the mocktails were really nice. I feel like most of the dishes were okay but the harmony was kind of off. But tbh definitely not bad and the server was really kind. The chef even introduced himself towards the end of dinner and he was really lovely, had a bit of chat with us which was cute. Would recommend if you want more of a fine dining experience but definitely didn’t get the French aspect of it, it was more so well polished Bulgarian cuisine with French influenced dish presentation”
