“Was a great last dinner for my trip. I just wish I had gone there earlier. Feels very homely. Small restaurant and seating area but very welcoming. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Ordered brik and couscous with lamb which was available on the day. Did not disappoint at all. Very good flavours and generous portion. Even though there was a slight language barrier (my fault for not learning enough) it was only a small issue. Thank you for making my last dinner of the trip and enjoyable one.”
“Now, I don’t have a Tunisian grandmother—but if I did, this is exactly what I imagine it would feel like going to her house for a meal. I’ve never had traditional Tunisian cuisine before, but the whole place had such a warm, homely atmosphere. Seeing the older Tunisian women in the back cooking just added to that authentic “grandmother’s kitchen” feeling. The food was really delicious, and the whole experience felt genuine and comforting. I would highly recommend this place.
“Very good and nice restaurant. The service was great. Food was served quick and warm. We had pleasant time. Recommended.”
“We visited for their Ramadan set menu and it was an absolute delight. For 75 Dinars, you get a full 3-course meal that is both excellent quality and very tasty. The flavors were authentic and everything felt freshly prepared. It's a great value option if you're looking for a high-quality Iftar experience without breaking the bank. The atmosphere was lovely and the service matched the high standard of the food. Highly recommended if you are in the area during the holy month!”
“It is a good place to try authentic Tunisian food. A family restaurant with a nice vibe. I personally estimated the portions a bit small and i mentioned it to the manager who offered more food! I liked the offer! Parking is not really available like anywhere in la marsa.”
“This nice small restaurant serves traditional Tunisian cuisine with limited options for vegan meals. However, I was lucky to try their vegetable couscous with a vegan version of Tunisian salad (no tuna or eggs). The course was delicious and satisfying.”
