“The grounds are impeccable and well maintained. The photos are accurate, very stunning interior. The food was good including the complimentary breakfast. Housekeeping probably came into my room 4x per day which is incredible, but unnecessary. The cocktails on the rooftop were just ok compared to North America so I would stick with beer or whiskey neat, but the young lady on the rooftop was very pleasant server. Great sunset views. Hanae from breakfast was excellent and attentive, helping me with some of my videos as well! A small number of other staff didn’t seem to want to be there and it showed.”

“From the reviews and online photos, expected Riad Fes to be luxurious and beautiful but it surpassed our expectations! The architecture and interior of the Riad is breathtaking! It feels like you are visiting a meticulously restored historical landmark. Our room was spacious and artfully decorated, and it was a regular room not even a suite! We enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Gayza restaurant. The surroundings are beautiful, with tables set around the courtyard pool. There was live traditional Morrocan music and the food was delicious. That’s also where breakfast is served, so you can enjoy the space even if you don’t have dinner there. The rooftop terrace is well worth a visit, with panoramic view of the Medina. We made good use of the swimming pool to cool off. It’s large enough with quite a few deck chairs, so there was always enough space for everyone. I would highly recommend staying at Riad Fes, it’s the whole package!”

“One of the best and most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. We booked the Classic room, which overlooked an internal courtyard and was truly lovely, Then, for our second night, we were unexpectedly upgraded to the Amir, a rooftop suite with its own large terrace, and views over Fes and the mountains beyond. The room and terrace were stunning and it was very difficult to leave!! The restaurant was superb and all hotel staff were charming and attentive. Breakfasts were outstanding. We certainly hope to return in the not too distant future.”

“Wow- what a beautiful Riad in the Medina. We stayed in one of the suites, and the service was exceptional from check in to check out. The rooms are beautiful and peaceful. Everyone from the hotel concierge to the porters go above and beyond. The breakfast (included) had a lot of variety (which we appreciated was in contrast to the typical Moroccan breakfast we were served at every other Riad we stayed with). The porter brought our bags out to the taxi stand and hailed us a taxi too! The only complaint I have is the dining experience for dinner- the food and wine were delicious but the service was not on par with the rest of the hotel experience (attention to details were missing- we asked for still water & were brought sparkling, were not checked on again after our meals came, and we poured our own wine; surprising for a fine dining experience).”
