“The shopska salad and the bread it came with were great in quality and quantity. The same was true for the pork knuckle. I wasn't sure about the pork knuckle when the waiter recommended it because I thought it was more of a Bavarian thing, but the preparation was completely different in Bulgaria: tender and came with stewed cabbage. The waiter removed the meat from the bones as it was served. The service was ok. The waiter didn't speak much English, but she did her best with my phone translation.”
