“Last evening, a group of 17 colleagues and I had the pleasure of dining at The Clock, a charming restaurant and bar nestled in the heart of the city. Our experience, organized meticulously by the restaurant, involved a selection of starters shared among us and a choice of five main dishes, ensuring prompt service for our large group. **Ambiance** The Clock is situated in a desirable city center location, boasting a hidden terrace that offers a secluded dining experience. Despite the interior's limited space, its efficient layout, combined with light colors and meticulous cleanliness, creates an inviting and open atmosphere. The attention to detail in maintaining the space is evident and contributes significantly to the dining experience. **Food** The evening commenced with an array of starters that provided an excellent introduction to traditional Bulgarian cuisine. The variety of appetizers, including standout dishes like salty goat cheese and surprisingly delicate snails, arrived swiftly and were well-received. For my main course, I opted for the chicken with an almond crust on gnocchi. While the chicken was tender and flavorful, the presentation and execution of the dish left room for improvement. The gnocchi was overcooked, and a cheese or sauce component reduced to a sticky paste detracted from the overall dish. Despite these inconsistencies, the quality of the food was solid, though it seemed to play it safe within standard culinary boundaries. **Service** The service at The Clock was commendable. Staff were not only friendly but also attentive to our needs, ensuring that non-Bulgarian speakers were accommodated with explanations in English. The wine selection was notable, and the timing of service was well-coordinated, ensuring each diner received attention when needed. **Conclusion** The Clock offers a dependable dining experience with good food, service, and an agreeable price point. While there is room for creative culinary exploration, the restaurant delivers on its promise of a satisfying meal in a pleasant setting. It’s a venue well worth visiting for those seeking a reliable dining option in the city center.”

“Lovely welcome. Ordered rice with goat cheese and beetroot which was amazing. Also had a salad with shrimps and a steak of redfish with brown rice. The start of the evening however was the dessert, a brownie with vanilla ice cream and the most tasty strawberry I had in a while. However, what I really appreciated and loved was the attitude of the stuff. All were so helpful, polite, kind and very good at their job.”

“Food very plain. I asked recommendation about Bolgarian food. So, i ordered pork chops. Honestly, I cook better. It was quite, easy to talk. Money wise, really expensive for this kind of food. Would not recommend 😕”
