“We came for the traditional dance performance, but it was a bit underwhelming. We also asked for a table with a better view, yet were seated in a spot with an obstructed view even though the restaurant was half empty. The food was pretty tasty and we still had a good time overall.”
“This place is designed in a traditional rustic style and caters mostly to tourists. There are folklore performances and live music throughout the night, so it gets quite loud inside. Service is efficient but feels a bit rushed since the place is usually packed with large groups. It’s more expensive than other spots in Sofia, but worth a visit if you want to see the local dances and shows.”
“At first glance this place is a little hard to find. I wish I took pictures of the exterior😔 as you have to walk down this path what looks like a loading dock for trucks to park but they do have a little sign out front to which helps. On the inside it’s a quiet place with classic Bulgarian food which was quite enjoyable. The service was very friendly and offered suggestions of some of the classic dishes the locals have. Overall I’d give this place a solid 8/10 for the pleasant experience and food quality.”
“Spent Sunday evening here with our Bulgarian friends and enjoyed atmosphere, folklore show and food. This restaurant offers a very authentic experience, good service and big variety of dishes. Show program was amazing 👌✨🥰”
“Delicious food, a great atmosphere, and reasonable prices. I especially enjoyed the traditional Bulgarian dancing. Highly recommended!”
“This is a good place to enjoy Bulgarian cuisine and traditional dance. Food taste delicious and there dancing performances every day from 8pm onwards. Please book in advance and anticipate 5 euros per pax for the entrance charges.best ever pork ribs I have tried!”
