“Very nice Italian restaurant we went by chance for dinner and will come back soon again. Pasta and risotto were very authentic and delicious.”

“Definitely an upgrade over the previous establishment (though I was a big fan of o!Shipka and its "secret" basement dance club). The decor received a slight update, while the food is very much Italian. So much so, that their pizzas reminded us a lot of one of the best pizzas we've ever had in Naples. The fried trout, on the other hand, was so-so and is not a dish we would likely recommend. While the cannoli was delicious but not impressive. Music and atmosphere were ok. Service of the kitchen was faster than service at the table, meaning it didn't take long for dishes to be prepared after order, but it was somewhat difficult to get the attention of a waiter. We will likely visit again at some point, but with so many good Italian restaurants in Sofia now, it will be a while. Hopefully they don't close before that.”

“It’s great that there is e vegan margharita, it wasn’t very good imo, the four cheeses pasta was also kind of tasteless, it felt like plain pasta with parmigiana. The pasta with porcini was amazing, 10/10, the eggplants with mozzarella I enjoyed as well as the calamari. The ambiance is okay, though if you’re in the further end of the garden during the summer it’s a bit hot, so make sure to get a reservation even on a weekday. The focaccia was probably the best I’ve had and it’s HUGE.”

“It was my second time visiting Osteria Tartufo. I decided to give it another chance since my first experience was disappointing — I waited around 45 minutes for a pasta Bolognese, only to be told they couldn't make it. This time, I ordered the same dish: pasta Bolognese. The taste was okay. I didn’t love it, mainly because the sauce was sour and lacked seasoning. My friend had a pizza, which she really enjoyed. I also tried their panna cotta. The panna cotta itself was very nice; however, they topped it with a strawberry sauce that was quite unpleasant. It tasted like eating extremely sweet strawberry perfume. The aperol spritz was good, though.”
